Catching the Westbound

In the aftermath of the Pinkerton Wars, society looks different. Trust and stability are harder to come by.

Two strangers, hobos riding in an open boxcar, sharing a journey through the night. The train car is a liminal space on the margins, and the journey is a metaphor: for transition, for loss, for discovery. Or maybe it’s not, maybe it’s just a journey. 

This is not a game to win or lose, but rather a shared exploration of a fleeting connection at the edges of society.
