Catching the Westbound
A downloadable game
Two strangers, hobos riding in an open boxcar, sharing a journey through the night. The train car is a liminal space on the margins, and the journey is a metaphor: for transition, for loss, for discovery. Or maybe it’s not, maybe it’s just a journey.
This is not a game to win or lose, but rather a shared exploration of a fleeting connection at the edges of an uncertain society.
Created for the Tabletop Train Jam.

This is a wonderful 2-player game that uses the riding the rails trope to tell moving stories about life and its numerous small journeys.
